Misambi Medical Mission

Bringing care closer to home

We take free medical camps, health education and follow-up care to families in Misambi village, Homa Bay County, and across the Nyanza region who live far from a hospital or cannot afford treatment.

Who we are

Healthcare with dignity, delivered where people live

Misambi Medical Mission was started in 2025 by Bishop Ezekiel Oginga of Oriang' VOSH Church in Misambi village, Homa Bay County. It began by caring for members of the congregation and soon grew to serve the wider community around the church.

Today a team of doctors, nurses, clinical officers and volunteers travels to villages, schools and churches to see patients, give medicine and teach families how to stay well.

  • Free consultations and essential medicines
  • Screening for blood pressure, diabetes and eye problems
  • Referrals and follow-up for patients who need more care

For many years our old people suffered quietly because the hospital was too far and too costly. Now the doctors come to us, under our own trees, and treat us with respect. Kadongo has seen what this mission is doing, and we pray it reaches every village.
